To be awarded the Diploma of Meat Processing you need to successfully complete six technical units of competency from the Diploma and four core units from Certificate IV.
The six technical units can be made up of any of the units listed on the Units of competency page of this website.
The four core units are as follows:
MTMMP70C Participate in OH&S risk control process
MTMMP72C Facilitate hygiene and sanitation performance
MTMCOR401B Manage own work performance
MTMCOR402B Facilitate Quality Assurance process
You can enrol in individual units of the Diploma of Meat Processing for which you will receive a Statement of Attainment. You do not have to enrol in the entire qualification.
Once you have been awarded the Diploma of Meat Processing, you may continue to study an additional four units to attain the Advanced Diploma of Meat Processing.
